Food will not be provided, so please bring snack/lunch for this event. Please bring plenty of water to stay hydrated, given the perfect sunny day!
CISC will be providing one sports drink to each participant.
Trail info:
Distance: 6.1 km rountrip
Elevation: 150 m

- hiking boots/poles/comfortable loose clothing
- sunscreen and bug spray
- water
Itinerary:
Fullerton Loop is an easy hike that provides excellent views of the Elbow Valley and nearby foothills. The ample south-facing exposure of this loop makes a great relax easy hike.
When you get to Alan Bill Pond, park in the lot there, and then look for your trailhead at the east end, toward the river. The trail goes through the fence once or twice before heading up into the woods. When you get to the fork (stairs on left, bridge on right), stay right to do the loop in a counter-clockwise direction.

How to Get There:
Event Directions: Follow the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) to the Highway 22 overpass, follow Highway 22 through Bragg Creek to the Highway 66 Junction, turn right and follow Highway 66 to the Allen Bll Pond day use area (on the left side). The east side of the parking lot is blocked off - just park as close as you can to that.
Carpool to Event Distance (round trip): 100Km
Carpool Departure Time: 11 am MST (sharp! We will leave without you) Please arrive at least 15mins early to figure out carpooling arrangements.
Carpool Location: Shouldice Arena Parking Lot, 1515 Home Rd NW
Carpool Directions: From 16th Ave NW, west of Shaganappi Tr, head south on Home Road to Shouldice Arena. We'll gather on the far side of the parking lot, away from the arena. Look for the event leader, Debbie (403-818-6886)
If you choose to drive out on your own, please meet at the Allen Bill Pond Parking by noon.
