    Calling all hikers and nature enthusiasts! Please join us on on this ~7km easy hike for magnificent view of early fall! 

    Pocaterra Cirque 

    From Highwood Meadows Trail, after 200 metres we cross a little bridge and arrive at the turnoff to Pocaterra Ridge (on your left). We follow the narrow trail through the meadow, then head left into the woods. The trail is heavily shaded and the trees are laden with Old Man's Beard.

    Getting There

    We will meet at Shouldice Arena to carpool at 8:30am sharp.

    Directions to the trail head: 

    We will start at around 10:30pm. Pocaterra Ridge Trail starts at Highwood Pass 140 km SW of Calgary. Take Highway 1 west out of town to the Kananaskis Trail/Hwy 40 turnoff. Stay on Hwy 40 for 67 km. The marked parking lot - Highwood Pass - will be on your right.

    Please register for carpooling and head counting purpose.

    Are you interested in learning more about Feng Shui? Come join us! 

    Ashutosh Deshpande will be providing a free 4 hour workshop on "Feng Shui for Personal Space"

    Ashutosh studied Feng Shui with Lilian Too and has been practicing for the past 15 years and have consulted with over 500 clients. 

     Some of the topics he will cover during the 4 hour session includes:

    • Getting started and applying the basic Feng Shui principles at home.
    • Various schools of Feng Shui, understanding the differences.
    • Activating the Earth luck.
    • Improving harmony with Clutter Clearing, Chi, Yin-Yang, Five Element Theory & Bagua.
    • Personalized Feng Shui. 
    • Understanding your personal elements, personal trigram and home trigram, 
    • Chinese zodiac signs, favorable and unfavorable directions, identifying corners & directions to activate, enhance or improve for quick results.

    Ashutosh will provide a list of 18 things that people can immediately do at home to improve the energy.


    Beverages and snacks will be provided. Please bring your own lunch for this session. 

    To ensure we have sufficient space and snacks, please RSVP by noon October 10th, 2018.
